Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County :The waves of victory continue to surge as Swim Fit Swim Club – Kisumu made another statement of dominance during the Uasin Gishu Aquatics Championship held over the weekend in the vibrant City of Champions, Eldoret. Competing away from home, the lakeside powerhouse proved that passion and discipline know no boundaries, leaving an indelible mark on the national aquatics stage.

Under the keen and charismatic leadership of Coach Odera Biko, affectionately known as Pesa Berr, the team displayed outstanding performances from start to finish — blending tactical precision, speed, and teamwork that electrified the poolside atmosphere. The event brought together an impressive lineup of Kenya’s top swimming clubs and academies, each showcasing remarkable talent and competitive spirit. Among the notable participants were:

Torpedo Swim Club, guided by the experienced Coach Hillary Leboy (Adipoolar), whose athletes displayed exceptional consistency and ultimately clinched top honors.

Swim Fit Swim Club – Kisumu, led by Coach Odera Biko (Pesa Berr), who steered his team to an exceptional second-place finish through sheer determination and teamwork.

Rapids Swim Club, under the guidance of Coach Kevin Beru, put up a strong performance, finishing in a respectable third place overall with a display of technical prowess and resilience.

Rupaz Elite Swim Club, ably coached by Coach Sophy, impressed with their young, energetic swimmers and a growing spirit of excellence.

Ndupawa Swim Club, a promising side with emerging talent, competed admirably and gained valuable experience on the big stage.

Other notable teams included Thunder Fins Swim Club, Gulab Swim Academy, Highlands Sharks, and Kalebbo Swimswam, alongside one dedicated unattached swimmer who made a splash with two medal wins.
